About Melissa

Hi there.  So glad you made it to my site!  I’m a 28-year-old former journalist, with a bachelors degree in photojournalism – a background that helps me capture your moments that are fleeting and precious.  I have been photographing weddings full time for more than four years and could not imagine doing anything else. Until we meet, here is a little more about me. :)

I’m fun-loving, easygoing and love to laugh.

I’m married to my best friend who I love beyond words and have three adorable pups.

I love to travel and experience new places, but I also love a cozy night in.

I enjoy a good hot drink – tea, coffee, cocoa; you name it, I’m drinking it.

I love the smell of clean laundry and eucalyptus oil.

I am known to break out in random dance parties if one of my jams comes on.

I’m a veggie fanatic, and I also have a love affair with cheese and all things chocolate.  (Don’t worry, the hubs is understanding.)

Cooking is calming to me.  I love making a good meal from scratch and seeing others enjoy it.

I believe humility goes a long way but the right amount of confidence is also important.

I think yoga does wonders for the body & soul.

I believe life is all about finding balance, and I work every day at achieving my own.

I get so much joy from seeing others happy – it’s the fuel that makes me love what I do.  Seeing people’s reactions to photos they adore is the best feeling ever!
