MEAGAN + OSCAR – VanLandingham Estate Wedding

Meagan & Oscar were married on the first of June at the beautiful VanLandingham Estate in Charlotte, North Carolina. I love a quote from their invitation: “Together with their families …. invite you to share in the celebration as best friends become husband and wife.”

Everything about this wedding was laid back and chic. It was threatening rain all afternoon, but no one was phased. After meeting Meagan and Oscar only once prior to their wedding (for their engagement shoot), I could tell this style of wedding complemented their personalities well. Nothing was fussy; everything and everybody was drama-free and a pleasure to photograph.

The couple gave me oodles of time to do portraits, which is such an amazing thing not to feel rushed. : )

They used herbs as table settings. LOVE that idea! The place cards also served as a wedding favor: wildflower seeds were embedded in the paper to be planted after the wedding. Brilliant.

Somebody enjoyed the cake. : )
